In Settings > Rate Rounding, you can choose how RateBoard rounds the suggested prices. This helps you align your prices with your hotel’s pricing strategy—whether you want cleaner numbers or psychologically appealing endings.
Available rounding methods
1. Don’t round
No rounding is applied. The suggested rate can end in any digit (e.g., €121, €124, €127).
2. Round up to
The rate is always rounded up to the nearest selected number.
Example: If you choose 9, then:
€121 → €129
€127 → €129
3. Round up or down to
The rate is rounded up or down to the nearest selected number.
Example: If you choose 9, then:
€121 → €119
€126 → €129
4. Round up to multiples of
The rate is always rounded up to the next multiple of the selected number.
Example: If you choose 5, then:
€122 → €125
€129 → €130
5. Round up or down to multiples of
The rate is rounded up or down to the nearest multiple of the selected number.
Example: If you choose 5, then:
€121 → €120
€124 → €125
